Does China have interdiction on the rapeseed import?

Hello Dear Sir/Madam We are rapeseed growing company located in Mongolia, and we would like to get response on the rapeseed import. I have a news from some Chinese company that says China has interdiction on the rapeseed import, is it true, if yes since when until when do you have this interdiction, thank you very much. Thanks for your attention to ETCN!

China does not prohibit the rapeseed import; it is can be imported to China.

In order to prevent the pest of Leptosphaeria maculans from being spread to China and protect the safety of Chinese agricultural production, from Nov. 15th, 2009, the rapeseed dealer should apply for the "License for Quarantine of Entry Animals and Plants" before sign the contract of rapeseed import. If import seasonal rapeseed from Canada and Australia, it should have transitional quarantine measures.
