I would like to send some New Zealand milk powder to a friend in guangdong province. He would like to have ten tins of powder (900grams per tin). It has a value of approximately $340 NZD or 1800 rmb. Can i and what forms etc do I nedd for customs?. Kind regards, David

For personal articles sending from New Zealand into China, the limit value for each time shall be CNY1000. For milk powder, the limit weight is 5kg.
The milk powder have exceed the limit, so the customs clearance shall be conducted in accordance with stipulations on goods.
And the excess part shall be imposed tax.
The duty-paid value of milk powder is CNY200/kg, tariff rate is 10%.
